Wedding Spotlight | Catherine & Win
We cannot believe that six months ago we were soaking up the sun in picturesque Vieques, Puerto Rico assisting and celebrating the beautiful wedding of Catherine and Win! From the stunning scenery, wild horses and all of the touching moments we are so excited to share some of the special details of their wedding day!
Their destination wedding had an “island chic” theme, with a black, white and gold color palette, including sweeping foliage in their centerpieces, romantic candlelight and even a surprise hookah bar for their cocktail hour, a nod to the bride's Lebanese heritage. The next day, the newlyweds threw a pool party for their 50 guests, complete with tropical drinks, games, swan floaties and beach balls featuring their wedding logo!
One of the most touching moments of the day included Catherine and Win's first dance in which they paid homage to Win’s late parents by dancing to ‘Moon River,’ while a black and white photograph of his parents was projected into the ballroom, a sweet surprise for the groom. We also loved adventuring around Vieques with photographer Jesill Ayala and his wife, Christine Aquino who went above and beyond to capture the most breathtaking photos of the newlyweds, and even went so far as to herd wild horses into their photos!
