An Intimate Dinner at Dior Paris

Part love letter to Paris, part intimate address book, and part meditation on the French art de vivre, Mathilde Favier’s Living Beautifully in Paris offers a personal glimpse into the people, places and rituals that make Paris so extraordinary.

As PR Director of Dior Couture and a lifelong Parisian immersed in fashion, art, interiors, beauty and gastronomy, Favier sees beauty not simply in beautiful surroundings, but in the way we live, gather and welcome one another.

It was fitting, then, to celebrate the book with an intimate private dinner and signing at 30 Avenue Montaigne, the legendary home of Dior.

Before dinner, we explored the Maison’s world through archival silhouettes, sculptural gowns and extraordinary installations that blurred the lines between fashion, architecture and art.

Then came dinner: crisp white linens, Dior’s signature houndstooth chairs, patterned porcelain, jewel-toned glassware and petite arrangements in blush, raspberry and soft pink. Nothing felt excessive. Every detail was considered.

And that, in many ways, is the essence of Favier’s book: luxury is not necessarily about more. It is about intention.

The evening felt like a living expression of Living Beautifully in Paris—a celebration of beauty, friendship, hospitality and the art of making people feel welcomed.

For those of us in the world of events, that philosophy resonates deeply. The most memorable celebrations don't simply show guests something beautiful; they invite them to become part of it.
