There’s something undeniably magical about a New Year’s Eve wedding and for former Space X executive Joseph Pellettiere and COO Jacqueline Soto their stunning celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago perfectly captured the excitement, elegance, and energy of ringing in a new chapter together, later featured in Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago. From the bridal party getting ready in the Ritz-Carlton’s palatial Presidential Suite to the iconic ballroom being transformed into an even more glamorous setting filled with candlelight, sophisticated décor, and breathtaking city views, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

One of the peaks of the day was Jackie and Joe’s beautiful ceremony at Holy Name Cathedral, where family and friends gathered to witness the couple exchange vows in one of Chicago's most holy settings. Following the ceremony, guests continued the celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, guests were welcomed into a candlelit ballroom filled with romantic details, luxurious florals from Taylor & Co, and a classic black-tie atmosphere.

The design struck a balance between luxury and warmth, creating a setting that felt both dramatic and inviting. Throughout the evening, subtle nods to the couple's Mexican and Italian backgrounds such as the mariachi and a dinner crooner from Beatmix Music added personal significance to the celebration, weaving family heritage into the guest experience.

As dinner turned into dancing, the energy in the ballroom continued to build from Time Chicago who kept guests on the dance floor while anticipation grew for the midnight countdown. When the final moments of the year arrived, the room erupted in celebration as friends and family welcomed the new year together beneath a balloon drop, the 16 piece band’s rendition of Auld Lang Syne, followed by a late night DJ set from The Music Trust dancing their way into 2026 in true elegance and fashion.
