Tying the Bot - AI In Wedding Planning

Read Michigan Avenue Events’ latest feature in the New York Post regarding AI

Founder of Michigan Avenue Events, Brianne Garritano, was featured in the New York Post’s article exploring the growing trend of couples using AI tools like ChatGPT to plan weddings, and why it can backfire.

Brianne highlights the biggest issue with AI: the gap between digital inspiration and real-world execution. While planning a destination wedding in Mexico, her client brought in an AI-generated design as a starting point. Although visually stunning, it wasn’t fully achievable in reality. She explains that AI can create beautiful concepts, but it doesn’t show the human effort required to bring them to life and often creates unrealistic expectations.

Instead of relying on AI, Brianne and Team MAE vet local, luxury vendors to bring a couple’s vision to life. Take a peek below to see the discrepancies between AI and reality.
