Black Creativity Gala

Griffin Museum of Science and Industry|Chicago, IL

The 2026 Black Creativity Gala at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry made history, welcoming more than 750 guests for a record-setting fundraising evening celebrating Black creativity, innovation, artistry, and cultural excellence across Chicago and beyond. With design inspired by Cheryl Boone’s powerful artwork “Jump at the Sun” the gala design embodied movement, optimism, imagination, and radiant possibility particularly with special guest Paul Tazewell and a roster of Chicago’s finest.
